FORSYTH, Mo. – Raising alfalfa in the Ozarks is an effective way of producing protein and energy sources to supplement beef and dairy cattle diets, according to Tim Schnakenberg, an agronomy specialist with University of Missouri Extension.
An elite group of elementary students from Branson, Hollister, Forsyth, Taneyville, and Bradleyville, were recognized at their Character Education assemblies. Each student showed a great deal of hard work and commitment while participating in the Branson Bank ‘Crazy About Cookies’ Calendar Contest.

Branson Bank has recently announced that Dr. Sue R. Head has been appointed to the Advisory Board of Directors. Dr. Head serves as the Dean of Character Education at College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri, and oversees The Keeter Center for Character Education and School of the Ozarks.
