The staff and management of Branson Bank, along with the family of Joe Smith, dedicated the lobby of the Forsyth Branson Bank location in honor and in memory of Joanne Smith, with over 70 in attendance. Joanne was employed with the bank since 2007, where she helped build what is now the Forsyth Branson Bank location, until her passing in July of this year.
“Joanne was as selfless as they come. She always put others first and had a smile on her face,” said Dean Harmon, Executive Vice President of Branson Bank. “It is with great honor that we dedicate our Forsyth lobby in memory of Joanne Smith for her service to our bank, as an employee and friend.”
A plaque and photo is currently on display. The plaque reads: “This Lobby is dedicated to the Memory of Joanne K. Smith on this 4th Day of October, 2013. With over thirty years in the banking industry and having lived in the Eastern Taney County community, Joanne was instrumental in helping build the foundation to what is now the Forsyth Branson Bank location. Joanne’s love of community, family, and fellow employees has made a tremendous impact on Branson Bank and it will be felt for many generations to come.”
Branson Bank would like to thank those in the community who attended the Lobby Dedication and helped us to honor and remember our friend and neighbor, Mrs. Joanne Smith.
