Internet Banking Solution
Halley Fleming

As a loyal Customer of Branson Bank, one of the conveniences available to you is our Internet Banking System. The technology that goes into our internet banking solution is being updated, and these updates are designed to protect you and your online accounts from would-be cyber criminals. The updates are currently in place, and we want to help ensure that your access to the online banking service at Branson Bank goes uninterrupted.

If you are using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser to access your online banking, you should know that Internet Explorer Version 5 is no longer supported with this update. Version 5 is an outdated version of Internet Explorer dating back to May 1999.  In order to use Branson Bank’s Internet Banking solution, Customers should be running Version 6 at the very least. It is highly recommended that Customers not access Online Banking, without the latest version of browser software. Internet Explorer is in Version 8 as of this writing. Updating your browser software is free, and only requires a little time to download and install. Windows users who utilize Windows Automatic Updates are more than likely already using Internet Explorer Version 8.

To find out what version of Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox you are using, open your browser and click “Help”, and choose “About”. This will tell you the exact version you have.

For users of Internet Explorer who wish to download and update the latest version, you can go to the following link:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/worldwide-sites.aspx

Simply full in the drop down box and click the link that matches your version of Windows.
