(Branson, MO) – On Tuesday, employees of Branson Bank presented a donation to Gift of Hope in the amount of $450 as an effort to purchase sneakers for area students in need.  Paper sneakers were displayed in the bank as customers and friends in the community helped donate to the effort.  The amount raised in our lobbies was matched and doubled by Branson Bank’s Casual For a Cause fund- an employee-raised fund where employees are encouraged to wear jeans and sneakers on Fridays for $5.

“Our culture at Branson Bank aligns well with the mission of Gift of Hope,” says Halley Fleming, Director of Marketing.  “Gift of Hope’s beginnings were derived from the generosity of National Enzyme Companies’ staff and we, at Branson Bank strive to provide those same opportunities for our staff. There is nothing greater than helping children in need and Gift of Hope sets the bar high with their various programs.”

Gift of Hope began in 1989, as the owners and employees of National Enzyme Company made the choice to forego traditional gift exchanges between co-workers. Instead, they created a charity that has grown significantly that helps area children in need.  For more information about Gift of Hope and their programs including the Back Pack Club and the Back To School Sneaker Program, please visit: www.giftofhopeinc.org.
